Welcome to The Pebble App.
The Pebble App helps parents, carers and families encourage positive habits and behaviours through tasks, rewards and participation within family circles.
By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Accounts are intended to be created and managed by adults responsible for children and family members participating within the app.
User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Keep login details secure
- Use the app lawfully
- Respect other members of your household
- Only create child profiles where you have authority to do so
You remain responsible for information entered into your account.
Family Circles
The Pebble App allows users to create and join family circles.
Circle owners may invite additional members.
The Pebble App is not responsible for disputes between family members regarding tasks, rewards, points or participation.
Rewards And Tasks
Tasks, rewards, points and achievements are managed by individual families.
The Pebble App does not verify, guarantee or enforce rewards offered by users.
All rewards are the responsibility of the family creating them.
Subscriptions And Payments
The Pebble App offers Pebble Free and Pebble Plus. Full product access is currently being provided free of charge until 11 January 2027. After that promotional access period, the features available without payment may differ from those included in Pebble Plus.
On iOS, Pebble Plus is an auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple's App Store. The applicable local price and billing period are shown by the App Store before you confirm a purchase, and Apple processes the payment. The subscription renews automatically until cancelled.
You manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple account's App Store subscription settings. Cancelling prevents future renewals but does not retrospectively cancel the current paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple under its applicable policies. Restore Purchases is available in the app where applicable.
One subscription applies to a Family Circle and is managed by the Circle owner. Other adults in that Family Circle may receive the resulting Plus access without purchasing separately. If ownership of a Circle changes, this may affect who manages the subscription relationship.
Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your account from within the app. Your account and personal profile are removed.
Where other adults remain in a Family Circle, the shared Family Circle and its child and family records remain available to those adults, and where appropriate ownership transfers to a remaining adult. Deleting one adult's account is not the same as deleting all shared family data.
Some limited records may remain where required for security, fraud prevention, legal or compliance reasons, or for legitimate operational purposes. Third-party providers such as Apple may retain their own transaction or account records under their own policies.
Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Misuse the service
- Attempt unauthorised access
- Interfere with app security
- Upload unlawful content
- Harass other users
- Use the service for fraudulent purposes
Account Suspension
We may suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Breach these terms
- Threaten platform security
- Misuse the service
- Create risk for other users
Availability
We aim to keep the service available and reliable.
However, the service is provided on an "as available" basis and availability cannot be guaranteed.
Features may change, be added or removed at any time.
Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Pebble App is provided without warranties
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
- We are not responsible for family decisions, rewards or agreements made between users
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Intellectual Property
The Pebble App, branding, logos, content and software remain the property of The Pebble App unless otherwise stated.
Users may not copy, distribute or reproduce app content without permission.
Privacy
Use of the service is also governed by the Privacy Policy.
Changes To These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time.
Continued use of the service after updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
